"For
me, fly-fishing is more than a hobby; instead it is a way of life,
and an escape. I fly fish for many different kinds of fish, from
pan fish to smallmouth, steelhead and even carp. But if I hade
my choice, I'd find myself a small stream in the north country,
full of brook trout sipping bugs off the surface. The sounds and
the smells of streams take me away from the trials and tribulations
of everyday life.
As a child, I loved
to draw. Growing up in the country, my drawings would take me
on adventures far away. Now, with family and work obligations,
I don't get to the river as often as I would like. But once again,
through art, and can find myself in another adventure on the Au
Sable or Madison or wherever I choose...even a small steam in
the north country...full of hungry brook trout."
